C-ITS in the heart of Europe
Traffic solutions
To make traffic safer, smoother, more sustainable, and more comfortable for all road users, Mobilidata developed innovative, technological traffic solutions. In consultation with various researchers and developers, Mobilidata defined 5 major categories comprising 31 traffic solutions.
Data collection and sharing forms the basis for two-way communication between intelligent road infrastructure and road users. In the course of 2023 and 2024, road users in Flanders will gradually be able to start using all applications.
A reliable data ecosystem
The Agency for Roads and Traffic ensures a reliable continuous flow of real-time traffic information. With a cost-effective, scalable and financially sustainable approach, Mobilidata advocates an international unified reference architecture for C_ITS working with an open ecosystem. Partnering with Mobilidata is free and based on a partnership contract to cover concerns such as privacy and security. Contact our partner managers for more information.

Cutting edge C-ITS, solid EU standardized foundations
Mobilidata built its reference architecture based on lessons learned from other European initiatives and applied the latest technology to it. As such, the program became the forerunner of standardization in terms of C-ITS in Europe. To move C-ITS from an innovation to the mainstream, Mobilidata advocates a unified system architecture with European standards in mind. This cloud-based architecture resulted in a white paper with the ambition to promote related initiatives to adopt a similar architecture. This is a cost-effective solution for all European cities and regions interested in connected mobility services.

Mobilidata's unique triple helix data fusion model
To create a high-quality information flow, three types of information are combined that are mutually reinforcing:
- Regional and local governments: including real-time road policies and legislation
- Private partners: acceleration and refinement of data
- Road users: reality check through recurring feedback
Adding more cooperative data at different levels and with different partners further strengthens this helix.
There is still plenty of room for new partners. Interested? Contact our partner managers.
